Strong storms rocked parts of eastern New Mexico overnight. Some the storms dumped heavy rain with Clovis picking up more than a .50″. Those storms have moved out and into Texas this morning. Much of New Mexico is now waking up to clear skies and mild morning temperatures. Showers could redevelop this afternoon and the best chance for rain will be around the Four Corners along with the Northern Mountains. It won’t be a complete washout but there will be the chance for some showers off & on this afternoon. The chance for isolated showers will continue for central and northern New Mexico for Sunday and Monday. By Memorial Day afternoon, highs could top out at 80° in Albuquerque.
