Thief steals disabled girl’s stroller

LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – A thief took a disabled girl’s custom stroller in Las Cruces.

The custom stroller belongs to a 6-year-old who suffers from a rare chromosomal disorder that leaves her unable to walk or talk.

The stroller was stolen Thursday night out of her mother, Ana Salina’s, truck while it was parked at her home.

Right now several businesses in town are fundraising to replace the stroller, but Salinas says she just wants her stroller returned.

Police are investigating but are asking the public to call them if they spot it. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
