Man Allegedly Bit Officer’s Finger

(KRQE) – On Friday, police in Albuquerque were called to a home on Veranda Rd., between 3rd and 4th St. NW.

Someone reported a man jumping into a neighbor’s yard and getting into a fight with the homeowner just before 6 P.M.

Police said the suspect cut the neighbor with a piece of glass before jumping back into his own yard and running into his home.

When officer’s arrived at the suspect’s home, they said he lunged towards them then, barricaded himself in the home.

Police were able to get the man to come out. They said when they were taking him into custody, he bit one of the officers on the finger.

That officer was treated for the bite.
