Fugitive on ‘most wanted’ list for New Mexico apprehended

GRANTS, N.M. (AP) – A fugitive who was on a “most wanted” list for New Mexico has been apprehended.

The U.S. Marshals Service says Grants police arrested 36-year-old Anthony Romero Jr. in that northwestern New Mexico city on Thursday.

The Marshals Service says Romero was wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.
