Albuquerque Police search for missing woman

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque police are looking for a missing woman who was last seen Thursday.

According to family members, Tina Romero was last seen with her two daughters Thursday. Police say Romero made delusional statements about people “chasing her” and “wanting to eat her”. They say she possibly left Albuquerque and her last known location was in Arizona near Flagstaff.

Romero told her family over the phone that she was possibly headed to the Phoenix.

Police say she possibly suffers from mental health issues and is believed by family to be off of her medication.

Romero and her children were last known to be in a Gray 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe bearing New Mexico license plate 452TAL.

Based on Romero’s irrational behavior as well as statements made by her to family members, police beliee there is a safety concern for her and herchildren
