ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – An Albuquerque shopping center is coming back to life with a makeover and a new tenant.
The Four Hills Shopping Center at the corner of Tramway and Central will soon be home to a Sprouts Market. The grocery story will fill the spot left vacant by Albertson’s which closed more than a year ago.
The other big hole left by the movie theater is also being filled by new state of the art theater unlike any other in the city. It will offer all you can eat popcorn, drinks, a self-serve nacho bar electric recliners and vibrating seats for action movies.
People who work nearby are happy to see the transformation.
“We’ve been here approximately eight years seen businesses come, looking forward to seen cinema, grocery store, very beneficial to the area,” Cato manager Amy McKee said.
Construction just began on the Sprouts. No word when it will open.
The theater is set for completion this month.
