Mathis parts ways with Gladiators

Duke City Gladiators

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Former NFL All Pro and Lobo, Terrance Mathis, is no longer investing in the Duke City Gladiators Indoor Football Team.

Mathis sent out a statement through email saying that he is no longer associated with the team and wished them the best. Mathis was originally listed as part of the ownership group.

Managing Owner Matt Caward confirmed that Mathis is out. “We’re sorry he is not going to be a part of this amazing endeavor”, said Caward.

When the Gladiators brought Mathis on board they were hoping he could generate interest because of his NFL and Lobo past.

The Gladiators next game is in Amarillo May 16.
