Mark’s Thursday Evening Weather Report

Mostly sunny skies will hold across the area once again on Friday before the next storm system rolls the northern New Mexico. Temperatures Friday will be in the mid-70s with gusty winds out of the south. Those winds could gust in excess of 35 mph across the east and here in the metro area.

By Saturday, our next storm system slides across the north. The storm has plenty of cold air and some moisture with it. It will likely produce some snow over the highest elevations of the northern mountains. However, the track is a little too far north to hit most of the state at this point. This track is worth watching.  If it shifts a little farther south we could be in business. Stay tuned!
