ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Isotopes ran into a hot Las Vegas 51’s team and was swept away at home.
The visitors completed the four game sweep with an 8 to 2 victory in the series finale Thursday. Las Vegas sealed the deal by starting Mets top prospect and pitcher Noah Syndergarrd. Syndergarrd was a one man show, holding the Isotopes scoreless for five innings. Syndergarrd also helped his cause with a two run homer in the 4th. He went 3 for 4 at the plate and also struck out 8 batters.
The Isotopes will try to put a stop to their four game losing streak on the road in Sacramento Friday.
