LOS ALAMOS, N.M.  (KRQE) – An employee at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center is in critical condition after being injured on the job.

The employee was burned while working on an electrical substation and is now in the hospital.

Eight other employees were taken to the Los Alamos Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the incident is under investigation and parts of the lab remains without power.
