Local high school hosts craft show to raise money for school band

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A local high school band is raising money by getting creative. La Cueva High School has been working on setting up their Spring Craft Show for nearly a year, a lot of work goes in to this process.

With a new idea for a fundraiser, students participating in band used their imagination and talents to raise money for school events.

A variety of crafts, pottery, paintings, and creations from over 100 vendors with a ton of one of a kind items will be in attendance.

The craft fair will have local artists alongside the high school students. They worked to make this happen before Mother’s Day, which they are suggesting is a great place to get Mother’s Day presents.

This all begins Saturday at 9am at La Cueva High School.

Enjoy food, a silent auction, and free parking and admission.
