Albuquerque holds Urban Olympics

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Albuquerque held a different kind of Olympics that didn’t have the usual sports of running or biking.

On Friday, the Urban Olympics were held with some events that are a bit unique including the office chair relay, high heel race and mop javelin.

Each team of five paid $350 to participate. Many of them are from downtown businesses.

The money helps Amy Biehl high school.

This was the 6th year for the Urban Olympics.
