Sequins, Suits, and Sneakers benefit the American Cancer Society

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – For the eight year, the University of New Mexico athletics department is helping the American Cancer Society fight cancer at the Sequins, Suits, and Sneakers gala on Saturday, May 2.

The event will be held at the Sandia Resort and Casino. It is part of a partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Funds raised at this event will benefit the American Cancer Society mission and support free programs and services for cancer patients in New Mexico.

The evening’s paddle raise will solicit donations to support the American Cancer Society to further their mission of breast cancer awareness, prevention efforts, ground breaking research, and support through local resources like Reach to Recovery and Look Good Feel Better for cancer patients and their families.
