Trek recalls millions of bikes, one rider paralyzed


ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A popular bike is being recalled and it could affect children.

Trek is recalling nearly one million bikes because a problem with the lever could cause the front wheel to stop turning or separate from the bike frame.

One person was paralyzed because of it.

Trek says that they will replace and install a new quick release for free.
