LOS ANGELES  (KRQE) –  Trader Joe’s is recalling thousands of pounds of sausage.

They are worried the sweet apple chicken sausage could have plastic in it.

The company is recalling more than 59,000 pounds of the sausage off the 8-ounce packages that are marked with the expiration dates of April 22nd, 25th and 29th.

Customers can return the product for a full refund at any Trader Joe’s.
