Jordan Goodman is leaving the Lobos

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE)– The University of New Mexico forward, Jordan Goodman, has asked for and has been granted his release.

Goodman has decided to transfer after only one season with the Lobos.

“I have given Jordan his release from his scholarship so he can play closer to home on the East Coast,” said head Coach Craig Neal. “It’s unfortunate things didn’t work out for him here, but I wish him the best of luck in continuing his career at another program.”

The 6 foot 9 Goodman had an injury plagued season and never seemed a hundred percent from his off-season knee surgery. His latest injury requiring surgery was a bone spur on his foot.

Goodman averaged 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. Goodman played in 19 games for the Lobos this past season.
