Bratton hoping for a chance in professional football

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – LaMar Bratton carved out a respectable college career manning the center position on an offensive line that paved the way for one of the top five rushing teams in the country last season. With his last college game behind him Bratton is hoping to get a shot at professional football. His dream is to play in the NFL.

“I know that if I do get a shot,” said Bratton. “I am going to go out there and put on a great performance.”

Bratton is no stranger to dominating performances. His past efforts were good enough to get him on the Rimington Award Watch List as a senior. If the NFL does not work out, Bratton does have a back up plan. He has already had a workout with the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. Bratton said the work out went well.
