Twenty-six million American adults have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and millions of others are at increased risk.

CKD includes conditions that damage your kidneys and decrease their ability for good health. When kidney disease advances it may eventually lead to kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a kidney transplant.
