City honors employee for saving man’s life
ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The city is recognizing one of their own for a rescue that was off the books. Last month, Captain Kevin O’Brien was driving home when he noticed a pick-up had clipped another car. As he was maneuvering around the wreck, he saw that the driver was slumped over the wheel and he knew something was wrong. O’Brien pulled the driver out of the pick-up and started CPR. A move that saved the man’s life. He recommends that you download the phone app “pulse point.” If you call 911 and tell them someone needs CPR he gets a notification if he’s close by.
