Isotopes don’t complete the sweep

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Isotopes took on the Tacoma Rainiers in their final game of the 4 game series. The ‘Topes won the last 3 games prior to the match up on Thursday afternoon.

Both the ‘Topes and the Rainiers got off to a slow start at the plate. Tacoma would get on the board first in the 3rd inning off of an RBI single. The Isotopes would not get their first hit until the 6th inning. They would also get their only run of the game in the 6th off of an Adames RBI double down the right field line.

The game went into extras with Tacoma scoring 2 runs in the top of the 11th inning, and that would be the final, 3-1. The Isotopes are now 5-3 overall. They hit the road next to play Reno at their place tomorrow for a 4 game series.
