Actor Tim Robbins directing Shakespeare play in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Actor Tim Robbins is in Albuquerque.

Robbins is sitting in the director’s chair performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The play will be performed this weekend at Popejoy Hall at the University of New Mexico.

“It was a way for me to remain honest to my original intention and my original mission in doing this whole thing. I’m really committed to the idea that live performance can change people’s perceptions,” Robbins said of his directing intentions.
