Spring Cleaning Organization: Garages & Closets

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – If you haven’t started yet, now’s the time to get your spring cleaning done around the house. This of course does include cleaning up and organizing your garage and storage areas. Kris Greig and Cesar Lopes with Great Spaces showed up some things to keep in mind when tackling something like this. Kris mentions breaking up the garage into a series of zones. Each zone is an area that permits a certain task or space for holding items. Installing hooks and other types of shelving on your walls is going to help de-clutter the floor, while maintaining each zone is detrimental to keeping the entire space clean. Using the same approach to any of your other storage areas is going to help with keeping the rest of your home organized. You can contact Kris and the rest of the folks at Great Spaces for more tips.
