Isotopes defeat Tacoma on a walk off homer again

Isotopes ballpark a good selling point for new team

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Maybe Tacoma is saying not again. For a second straight night the Albuquerque Isotopes sent Tacoma to defeat behind a walk off home run. Tim Wheeler hit the walk off bomb in the 9th inning. It was his second home run in the 6 to 5 win.

Monday night the Isotopes got a pair of home runs from Dustin Garbeau. He hit a walk off in the tenth inning. Colorado Rockies ace Jorge De La Rosa continued his rehab assignment with the Isotopes and started the game. He is coming back from a groin injury.

De La Rosa went five innings. He would strike out five and give up three runs and five hits. The Isotopes and Tacoma play game three of their four game series Wednesday.
