Chris’ Saturday Night Forecast

Sunday's Weather Outlook

It was a fairly quiet Saturday, but changes are ahead for Sunday afternoon.   A storm system is going to move through the region and that will bring the chance for showers to southern and eastern New Mexico for Sunday and Monday.   On top of that, a cold front is going to roll through and that will crank up the wind in Albuquerque.   Those canyon winds could limit our shower chances for Monday afternoon leaving the best shot for rain in the south & east.     Behind the front, temps will drop back to more seasonable highs or even below average for the middle of the week.   Another front will roll in Wednesday and Thursday, this second front will reinforce the cooler air along with bringing rain chances back for the northern mountains and northeast.
