A storm system spinning off the West Coast will move into the state over the weekend. Look for clouds to increase a bit out ahead of this system on Saturday along will breezy to windy conditions. Highs on Saturday will top out in the mid 70’s. Showers will develop over southern New Mexico on Sunday. As the storm moves through the south on Sunday, a cold front will dive down the east side of the state. The combo of these two features will lead to showers over southern and eastern areas. If we are going to pick up rain in the Metro it will most likely be Monday. The storm will slide east on Tuesday and high pressure will build back in.
