Albuquerque volunteers recognized for their work

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Volunteers who keep Albuquerque running were recognized as part of a national movement at the third annual Mayors Day of Recognition for National Service.

Justin Allen was one of the volunteers being honored at the event. Justin has clocked more that 200 volunteer hours over the past year. Allen has also earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award for his work. Allen said his inspiration came from the volunteers when he was kid at summer camp.
