Chris’ Friday Evening Forecast

Cooler, more seasonable temps returned to the Land of Enchantment on Friday, but it won’t take long for warmer than normal temperatures to return.   Before we warm up though, get ready for more canyon winds over night tonight into Saturday morning.   Wind speeds will be sustained from 10-20 mph with gusts around 30 mph.   Winds will remain breezy for Albuquerque on Saturday with the strongest winds being felt in the east on Saturday.   The wind will continue to strengthen into next week elevating the fire danger for the beginning and middle of the upcoming week.   Unfortunately, it looks like our dry stretch of weather will continue for a little while longer.
