Albuquerque student the victim of armed robbery on UNM campus

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened early Friday morning just outside the dorms.

According to police, the victim, a UNM student, was held up outside the Casas Del Rio dormitory near Central and Girard.

Police say the suspect approached the victim with a handgun and took the students belongings.

The suspect is described as a six-foot tall black man. He was last seen on the west side of campus in a dark colored SUV.
