Chris’ Sunday Evening Forecast

An area of high pressure and dry westerly flow continue to dominate our weather and they’re keeping the warmer than normal temperatures in place.   A cool front is moving through the eastern half of the state and that is triggering some spot showers around the Northern Mountains for tonight. There’s not much moisture in place so these showers aren’t doing much other than picking up the wind and produce some lightning.     Another weak storm system moves in for Monday and Tuesday.   This will bring the chance for some hit and miss showers, but again its another system that doesn’t have much moisture to work with.   So that of course means will we need to be on the lookout for more dry, gusty showers to begin the week.
