ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) –  An Albuquerque park debuted with a new zip line on Sunday.

City leaders and kids helped dedicate new upgrades at Santa Fe Village Park on Albuquerque’s Westside.

Among the improvements are exercise equipment for parents and a new 50 foot long zip line for the kids. This is the only park that has a zip line.

Those improvements cost $114,000 and took about two months to build. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
