New Mexico senators’ bill would benefit state labs

SANTA FE (KRQE) – New Mexico senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich have introduced a new bill on Capitol Hill that would bring national laboratories more money for research.

The measure increases the maximum percentage of funds available from 6 percent to 10 percent and would directly affect labs such as Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Labs.
