ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – First responders from across New Mexico took the ice to take on a top team.

They played hockey at Outpost Ice Arena against the NM Hockey All-Stars on Saturday to help raise money for Special Olympics.

The first responders team ground out a 3-2 victory.

They’re hoping to make the game an annual event.
