ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – St. Patrick’s Day is coming up fast and the celebration begins this weekend.
Saturday, March 14, the Balloon Museum is hosting the party, but it also comes with a parade.
The High Desert St. Paddy’s Day Party and Parade will go from noon-5 p.m. Get their early because it will be jammed packed.
Enjoy a large selection of delicious food, crafty merchandise, face paintings and music.
The High Desert Pipes and Drums, who will play at 2:15 p.m., joined KRQE’s This Morning team Friday to show off a little bit of what patrons can expect.
There is also a Kid and Dog Costume Contest; this begins at 3:45 p.m.
For adults, admission is $6.
Children younger than 12 and who wear costumes will be admitted for no charge.
There are no advanced tickets for this event.
