New Mexico deputy arrested on drug charges

COLFAX COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A deputy with the Colfax County sheriff’s office has been arrested on federal drug charges. Officials say 45-year-old Vidal Sandoval was taken into custody by the FBI and state police Friday. Sandoval lives in Cimarron.

According to the criminal complaint, Sandoval was trying to sell more than a pound of cocaine.
