Chris’ Friday Afternoon Forecast

Rain chances are ahead for parts of New Mexico this afternoon along with breezy to windy conditions.   A little storm system is passing through today and that is picking up the wind and triggering some showers in the north.  Albuquerque and Santa Fe will have a shot for an isolated shower.   The best chance will be around 5-7pm tonight.   The chance for rain will also be in western New Mexico.    By Saturday, a ridge of high pressure will take control of our weather and this will limit the showers to northern New Mexico and southern Colorado.   Then by Sunday, more sunshine and drier conditions with temperatures topping out in the 70s in central and southern New Mexico.
