March Madness going on at Botanic Gardens

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The ABQ BioPark invites you to visit the Botanic Garden’s Mediterranean Conservatory, which will be blooming regardless of any potential mad weather outside.

A popular flower there will be colorful Asiatic and Oriental lilies and white cyclamen. This will be going on through the end of the month.

The show starts at 5 p.m. every day, and admission is included with entry into the park. Maria Thomas, curator of plants at the gardens, stopped by KRQE This Morning with an example of some of the beautiful flowers you can see there all month long.

She also provided some tips on growing plants at home, even with the lingering colder temperatures. In the video, she includes flowers people can consume and cook with. For more on the March Madness Flower Show, visit the BioPark’s website.
