Rio Rancho Rams remember Haase

ALBUQUERQUE(KRQE) – The Rio Rancho Rams baseball team opened the season remembering one of their fallen. Former pitcher and Rio Rancho police officer Anthony Haase lost his life in a car accident in October of 2014. Haase helped the Rams win their first state title back in 2007.

His number 15 jersey was retired on Tuesday as part of the tribute. After leaving Rio Rancho, Haase played a couple of seasons at Cochise College. He was also a draft pick of the Texas Rangers. His father, mother, widow and in-laws were present at the tribute.
