Tail Wagger of the Week with Animal Humane

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Animal Humane joined us this morning for our Tail Wagger of the Week. Pam Nichols brought a sweet dog, Betty.

Betty actually recently survived having a tumor removed from her torso, and as you can see, she’s as lively as ever. Pam says Betty would be a good match for just about anyone, but does suggest if you have a pet at home already, introduce him/her to Betty first.

Animal Humane will host their Train Humane event tomorrow. It starts at 3 p.m. at their main campus on Virginia Street. It is a free event however, their class at 4 p.m. does cost $10 to attend.

Also, in conjunction with First Financial Credit Union, Animal Humane will be hosting their first pet food bank drive through the month of March. You can donate dry dog and cat food at any of the 7 branches of First Financial, or at Animal Humane’s main campus.
