ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The third suspect in a Super Bowl night murder is now behind bars.

Police say Ricardo Romero turned himself in Tuesday night.

Romero, David Ulibarri – a city employee who works with ABQ Ride’s transit department – and Jason Comitz are all charged with the murder of Paul Rael.

Police say it happened after a dispute over $30 of meth.

All three are also linked to a biker gang.

Ulibarri remains on paid leave with the city while an internal investigation is conducted. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
