Rail Yards Market reaches deal with city

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – After months of negotiations, The Rail Yards Market and the city of Albuquerque have reached an agreement.

The non-profit group will host the market every Sunday year round, but if there’s a fifth Sunday in a month the city will use that time to rent out the space itself.

The Rail Yards Market will also have to pay more rent. It will go up from $800 to $900 per Sunday.

The Rail Yards Market and the city both signed off on the agreement last Friday.
