Woman arrested after stabbing a man to death in NE ABQ

ALBUQERQUE, N.M (KRQE) – Natasha Lee, 31, has been charged with an open count of murder after she stabbed a man to death in northeast Albuquerque.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Virginia St NE Saturday afternoon in reference to a male subject who had been stabbed.

Officers said the man was stabbed after having an argument with Lee. The argument began at a friend’s house of Lee’s after she didn’t like the way he was addressing other women. It then continued into the street where Lee stabbed the man several times.

According to APD, when they got there, Lee was fighting with a man covered in blood. As soon as Lee saw the officers she walked the opposite direction with knife in hand but eventually did drop the knife and police took her into custody.

Lee is being held at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center. The man was taken to a local hospital where he died.
