NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Winter road conditions for District 4.  NM Roads has been updated with the latest conditions.

I-25, Closure at mile marker 454.00 North Bound (Raton).  There is an accident on the Colorado side of the State Line at mile marker 1.00 that is backing up traffic North Bound.  Please use caution as traffic is slowing down and roads are icy.  An update will be sent out as soon as the accident is cleared up.

DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS:  I-25 mile post 446 to mile post 460 (Raton to Raton Pass), roadway is snow packed and icy with moderate snow.  Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering.  Please drive with caution and reduce your speed.

DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS:  US 64 mile post 273 to mile post 344 (Agua Fria to Raton), roadway is snow packed and icy with moderate snow fall.  Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering.  Please drive with caution and reduce speed.

DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS:  US 64 mile post 346 to mile post 404 (Raton to Grenville), roadway is snow packed and icy with moderate snow fall.  Crews are out plowing, salting and cindering.  Please drive with caution and reduce speed.
