Distributing Dignity serves NM homeless women

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – There are many ways to help the homeless, but there is one way that seems to be over looked and an organization is ready to help.

In 2009, Distributing Dignity, started providing assistance to a homeless center donating used business clothes for job interviews. This is where the subject of bras came up. Most of the women at the center lacked bras and they also brought attention to the shortage of feminine products.

Now six years later, donations are still rolling in.

There are locations around the city that are taking donations of bras and feminine products to help the local homeless.

Donated bras must come with the price tag, they ask not to bring used bras.
