FBI offers $1K on anniversary of man’s death

NAVAJO INDIAN RESERVATION, N.M. (KRQE) – It will be a year this weekend since counselor Wilson Joe Chiquito was killed, and now the FBI is offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer.

Frank Fisher with the FBI said Chiquito was killed between the evening hours of Feb. 14 and noon Feb. 15 at his home. The Navajo Indian Reservation resident was 75 at the time, and was killed by blunt force trauma.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Field Office at 505-889-1300. Tips can also be submitted online.
