Three avoidable mistakes to help children thrive

Three avoidable mistakes to help childs future

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Parents can guide their children toward a life of success if they avoid three simple mistakes, according to the Kauffman Foundation,

Fifty-four percent of the nation’s millennials are interested in owning their own business or better yet, already have, according to the foundation.

Dwayne Farnsworth, author of “How Teens Can Be Awesome At Work,” cautions readers of the three mistakes made by parents that harm their child’s future success.

The three mistakes are labeled “Ben Franklin Blunder,” “Trump Trap,” and “Play Station Problem.”

The main theme in each of the mistakes is not allowing your child to depend on any outside source to earn money. If your children are treating you like an ATM, have zero drive to work, or haven’t developed valuable work skills, they may be on the path for an unsuccessful future.

Another topic Farnsworth mentions is his E.A.R.N. Formula which stands for energy, ask, ready and network.
