Solar energy business recognized nationally

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – There are a few local hotels that are said to be making a positive difference by doing the “bright” thing.

Stay.Solar, a start-up based in Albuquerque, is helping boutique hotels to be more energy sufficient.

The energy sufficient company allows hotels to power guest rooms with solar energy without installing solar panels on site.

A smart grid technology instantly connects directly to each room supplying them with clean renewable solar energy.

This process eliminates investment in expensive solar equipment, unsightly changes to the building and the tribulations of system maintenance.

Stay.Solar is giving going green a greater meaning through the Running on Sunshine Program.

Its mission is to expand renewable energy access and focus on those with the greatest needs.

Running On Sunshine obtains all of it’s solar through a non-profit known as reChoice. ReChoice matches every dollar going to build new solar rooftops of deserving local non-profits.
