Mindfulnees in relationships is key, expert says

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Even the best relationships can go south if not maintained, but there is advice on how to reconnect and reset just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Dr. Beth Gineris, author and life coach, has many tips for repairing a relationship in her book, “Turning Me to We: The Art of Partnering with Mindfulness.”

To be mindful, Dr. Gineris suggests having a full conversation about what is desired from and given to the partnership.

She also suggests keeping that conversation going. Checking in regularly and make adjustments where necessary. By avoiding defensiveness and competition, it will be easier to focus on connecting and collaborating.
