MONDAY: If you liked this weekend, you’ll like today! Expect high temperatures to climb into the 50s & 60s across northern NM and 60s & 70s throughout central & southern NM. Plenty of sunshine will cover the area with light winds 5-15 mph expected this afternoon. Overnight lows will cool to the 30s & 40s tonight into Tuesday.
TUESDAY: High temperature will be similar to Monday with 50s, 60s & 70s scattered across the state. Mostly sunny to clear skies will be seen area-wide with winds nudged up a touch across the Eastern Plains (10-15+mph). Overnight lows will once again drop to the low to mid-30s Tuesday night into Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY: An approaching storm and cold front will bring changes to our spring-like weather pattern in the way of cooler temps, gusty winds & better rain/snow chances. The incoming cold front will move in over the Northeast Plains, cooling afternoon temps more than 10 degrees with a bit more cloud cover. Winds will also kick up with this front with speeds expected to exceed +20 mph. Spotty showers are expected to develop Wednesday afternoon, although, lack of moisture looks to limit coverage.
