Kids learn 6 types of dance in week-long program

NM Entertains raising funds for youth dance camp

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – In just five short days, an organization teaches children a wide range of dances and gives them an opportunity to perform what they’ve learned in front of an audience.

New Mexico Entertains started Fuzion Summer Dance Intensive just last year. This is a week-long program that teaches children six to seven dances of all different styles including jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, breaking, lyrical, ballet and popping.

In order to have this class, Fuzion is fundraising through Kickstarter.

The money raised will help to cover the costs of a performance space, payment for the instructors along with housing and food, local transportation and promoting the event.

This program invites children from all walks of life and dance levels. Fuzion gives them the opportunity to work as a team and perform the dances they have learned on stage for their family and friends.
