Family and friends gathered Saturday night to remember a woman who was gunned down in a restaurant parking lot. Police say Alicia Quintana’s boyfriend, Ernest Serna, killed her after an argument in the TGI Friday’s parking lot. Court documents show the 45-year-old had a restraining order on Serna, but it expired in Dec. 2014. Serna is being held on a $1 million dollar cash-only bond.
Lottery officials say the big time Powerball prize will swell to $450 million by the next drawing on Wednesday. The lucky numbers are 5-10-21-34-58 with a powerball of 33 and power play of 5.
A suspected thief is in critical condition this morning after police say a shop owner shot him in the back. They say the armed man took off from the Hydro Lyfe store with a grow lamp. The store owner allegedly followed then shot him in the back. No word on if the store owner will face any charges.
